The Moose Jaw Heritage Inn Classic, the Saskatchewan Men’s &
Women’s Curling Tour Event, was hosted for the fifth year at the Moose Jaw
Ford Curling Centre at Mosaic Place. Once again, many
familiar names, including former provincial curling champions, from around the
Province competed for a total prize purse of
Bruce Korte won the men's division and Mandy Selzer won the women's division. The Barker team from the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre lost the final (Skip - Penny Barker, Third - Deanna Doig, Second - Melissa Hoffman, Lead - Danielle Sicinski). Other Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre qualifying curlers were the Arguin team of Skip - Lorraine Arguin, Third - Donda Lee Dies, Second - Shelley Urquhart, Lead - Connie Fritzler, and Derek Owens from the Gedak team. Winning the A event was Roberta Fonger (Skip Darlene Gillies, Third Linda Kloschinksy, Seoncd Roberta Fonger, Lead Jan Weppler (not pictured) with spare Joan Buckmaster), B event was Lisa Froehilch, and C event was Marie Wright/Shelly Swanson. Theme this year was Major League Baseball and the Elaine Osmachenko team took hope the prize for best dressed team.

CUMA BONSPIEL DRAW
Find a partner and play 8 ends of doubles. Only 5 games in the first half (October - December)! This is a great league for those wanting to get another quick game in the season, or for those that can not commit to a weekly schedule! Games should take approximately 1.5 hours.
Cost is only $65 for half a season or $125 for the full season.
Continental breakfast at 9:30 am before your game is included in the price and then you start your game at 10:00 am.
Schedule dates: October 25, November 1 and 22, December 13 and 20
League play began for the Primary Eye Care Centre FUN Curl and Youth League on Sunday, September 27. All other afternoon and evening league play started on Thursday, October 1.

Typical Office hours are Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Text 306-631-3614 prior to coming to ensure someone is in the office. Location of the Curling Office temporarily is on the Mezzanine Level Room 206.
If you have not done so already all curlers will need a Registration Form filled out.
All FUN Curl and Youth League curlers will also need a Participation Form filled out.
2015 - 2016 Curling Prices
Thank you to everyone that came out and participated and instructed at the Curl Moose Jaw Youth Camp presented by Viterra. 16 kids from ages 5 - 10 came out on Saturday, and 24 kids from ages 11 - 20 particated on both Saturday and Sunday. In total 49 kids participated!
It was a great time had by all participants at the Curling 301. Thank you to the instructors that helped out and had our new curlers ready for league play!

On Wednesday, September 23 Curl Moose Jaw celebrated the 2014-15 Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre and Moose Jaw's Off and On Ice Champions. Volunteers, League, Bonspiel, and curling members and Moose Jaw residents that advanced to a provincial, national and world competition were honoured. Pictured below is the unvieling of the two Provincial Banners won by Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre's Traveler's Women's team and Saskatchewan Winter Games Men's team that now proudly hang at the club!
17 Teams competed and had a great time on and off the ice. Thank you to all that particiapted, came to watch and donated. Winning the Boston Pizza Downtown 'A' event was Wade Gray, Don Shields, Ken McInnis and Al Lindquist over Jayson Gadd, Craig Templeton, Doug Young, Crystal Bourassa and Kaitlin Corbin. Brad Law won the Browns Social House 'B' event over Ralph Courtnage. Taking the Conexus Credit Union 'C' Event was Bonnie Keogan family over the Greg Wells family. The Johnstone 'D' Event winners were Kal Tire over Marie Wright.

MJFCC's 113th Pioneer Men's Annual Speil was held January 30 - February 1. 14 teams competed and had a great time on and off the ice. Thank you to all that participated, came to watch and to Rob Garland again for sponsoring the event and hosting the pancake breakfast. Winning the 'A' event for the second year in a row was Darren Engel, Andrew Kowalsky, Jason Barnhart and Travis Gansauge over Warren Marcotte, James Barkway, Terry Barkway and Lloyd Thiele. Wade Gray won the 'B' event over Blaine White. Taking the 'C' Event was Ryan Wenarchuk over Kurt Gillett. The 'D' Event winners were Bob Desnoyers over Ralph Courtnage.

MJFCC's Annual Ladies Tweety Bird Bonspiel was held November 14-16 and for the second consecutive year Lorraine Arguin, along with teammates and daughters Chantelle, Jennifer, Danielle and Katelyn, were Bonspiel Champions defeating Team Barb Wallace in the A Event Final. Elaine Oasmachenko captured the B Event with a win over Lisa Froehlich.
SASKATCHEWAN’S TOP CURLING TEAMS COMING TO MOOSE JAW
Sunday, October 26 - Moose Javians play in both SCT and SWCT Championship games:
The SWCT championship final saw Moose Jaw's Lorraine Arugin playing to a 5-3 loss to Jessica Hanson from Saskatoon. Other qualifying teams included, Penny Barker, Kaitlin Corbin, Shalon Fleming and Kim Schneider. In the Men's SCT event the Brent Gedak team, which includes Moose Jaw's Derek Owens, defeated Regina's Jaime Schneider. Teams skipped by Kevin Marsh, William Coutts, Gord Bell and Max Kirkpatrick complete the men's team qualifying for playoffs.
Located in Southern Saskatchewan, Mosaic Place opened in August 2011 and is a 210,000 square foot facility featuring an Entertainment/Sports Bowl, 8 sheet Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre, Banquet Room,Meeting Space and Retail Opportunities. Bowl seating is 4,465 for hockey spectators and 5000+ for events & concerts.
